Ortus Recruitment is looking for a committed Learning Support Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Chiswick. This full-time position is set to commence in September and focuses on providing essential 1:1 support to a Year 1 student with special educational needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalized 1:1 support to a Year 1 student, focusing on their specific learning needs
• Collaborate closely with the class teacher to design and implement effective learning strategies
• Conduct small group interventions to reinforce core subjects, including literacy and numeracy
• Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes engagement and learning
• Regularly assess and report on the student’s progress, making necessary adjustments to the support provided
