This SEN Primary Teaching Assistant vacancy is a great opportunity for someone that has experience in childcare or in that area, we are looking for someone that really drives themselves to do better and to have a great work ethic.

Previous experience working alongside children with SEN is beneficial to the role but not essential. Applicants should have good knowledge of special educational needs and experience working with Early years children in a school or nursery previously.

The senior leadership at the school are supporting and friendly, and have worked to build a welcoming atmosphere where learner and staff feel enabled to grow and develop.

Essential skills that are required to have:

• A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
• Experience working with children with Autism/ADHD
• Have a natural enthusiasm for working with young children
• The ability to monitor and record a child’s progress
• An understanding of safeguarding children
