The Job Information:

• Position: Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant
• Pay: £90 – £100 per day, PAYE – No hidden agency/umbrella company fees
• Location:  Lewisham, Hither Green
• Role: Full time, Long term, Monday – Friday (08:30 – 16:00)
• Start Date: Immediate Start

We are working with an amazing new client, a Mainstream Primary School located in the London Borough of Lewisham, Hither Green. This is a modern school who provide a diverse and inclusive learning environment for pupils, they are Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ and run fortnightly wellbeing meetings to ensure that staff are happy in the school. The school boasts a fantastic and tight knit staff team who all maintain a positive working environment.

The ideal candidate for this position will be someone who has experience either working in a nursery setting, a primary school setting supporting EYFS, or any private nannying or childminding roles. We are seeking someone who is able to start immediately and commit to full time, long term work; up until the end of the academic year, and going into September. The ideal candidate will need to have a strong academic background, with a childcare degree (this is essential).

The successful candidates will need to have TWO obtainable childcare relevant references and a clear Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service or be willing to process one through Ortus Recruitment – £52

Within this role, the successful candidate will be required to support the Class Teacher in supporting a reception class. You will be required to assist the pupils with activities and tasks given to them by the class teacher and help aid their development through games and sensory activities. You will be tasked with helping to supervise them in the lunch hall and in the playground, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times.
