We are looking for a passionate and committed Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team and help us continue to provide high-quality education to our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help.
• Prepare classroom materials and set up learning activities.
• Support the classroom teacher in managing student behavior and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Help supervise students during break times, school trips, and extracurricular activities.
• Contribute to the overall development and well-being of the students.
• Perform administrative tasks to support classroom activities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A caring, patient, and empathetic approach to working with children.
• Basic IT skills for assisting with classroom technology.

Desirable Attributes:

• Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN).
• Knowledge of the primary school curriculum.
• First aid certification.
