We are currently looking for a Part-Time Teaching Assistant with SEN experience who can support a pupil with ASD on a 1:1 level in a mainstream primary school in the London Borough of Brent. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who have SEN and behaviour management experience.
The role is Part-Time: Thursday and Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a safe and stimulating environment for the 1:1 pupil. They have a diagnosis of ASC (Autistic Spectrum Condition) therefore require someone who can set boundaries, build a trusting relationship and implement effective strategies to aid in academic and social development. The child will be placed in Year 1 in the mornings and Reception in the afternoons.

Requirements for the role:
- Good understanding of EYFS/KS1 curriculum
- Behaviour management
- SEN experience
- Ability to problem solve and take initiative
- Good communication skills
- Nurturing and patient approach
- Competent literacy skill

- £85 – £100 Per Day (PAYE)
