Ortus Recruitment has an exciting opportunity that has arisen for excellent Behaviour Mentors to join our partnered people referral unit based in West Norwood. The successful candidates will have a strong track record of running highly effective intervention groups, supporting pupils in the classroom and around the school, and supervising playtimes.

The successful candidate will work with enthusiasm, flexibility and a nurturing manner to maximise pupils achievement and personal development. You will strive for excellence in all that you do and hold the highest expectations for pupils and the school. This is an excellent opportunity for a special individuals with good interpersonal skills who can relate well with young pupil and enable their independence and success.

Candidates must be available immediately with no notice period and must be available for a trial day with the school.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree or relevant qualifications in Education, Maths, English, Sciences, Psychology, Drama, or Performing Arts or related field
• Strong understanding of working with children/ young people, e.g., Youth Work, Mentoring, Tutoring, Childcare, Voluntarily
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to undergo a full Enhanced DBS check
