Job Description

Ortus recruitment are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work with children who have Profound & Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) in Croydon. This is a full-time, long-term job and is a great experience for any people that are trying to get involved in this sector.

In this role you’ll be working with children who have Down’s Syndrome and Autism (ASD/ASC). You’ll be involved in a small group most probably 1:1 learning, making sure that you support the child and help them learn and adapt their skills.

At times you’ll have to work with a group of children as well, this is a great chance for you to interact the children with each other and make sure you use your skills to help create a social environment.

Working with Ortus Recruitment.

• £85 – £95 per day, paid weekly. (PAYE Payments- no umbrella company costs)

• Depending on site, the hours are between 8:30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
