About the Role:
- Position: Primary Learning Support Assistant
- Location: Croydon
- Hours: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday
- Pay: £85 – £100 per day PAYE (depending on experience)
- Contract: Full-time, term-time only
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to pupils with additional learning needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively.
- Work closely with teachers to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and deliver targeted interventions.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes confidence and engagement.
- Support children both one-on-one and in small groups, adapting to their unique needs.
- Assist in managing classroom behavior, promoting a calm and focused atmosphere.
- Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and external specialists to support pupils’ progress.
About You:
We are looking for a compassionate, proactive individual who:
- Has a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and well-being.
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates patience, adaptability, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Has experience working with children, particularly those with additional needs (desirable but not essential).
- Holds relevant qualifications in education or childcare (preferred but not required).
