Primary School Administration Assistant | Immediate Start
Ortus Recruitment is currently seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our client’s team as a Primary School Admin Assistant based in Southfields. The successful candidate will have previous experience in an administrative role and experience using school management systems such as SIMS or Arbor.
Please Note: You must have experience using SIMS or Arbor as this is the software the primary school uses and they need an individual who can hit the ground running.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the administrative functions of the school office, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing paperwork.
- Maintaining student records, attendance data, and inputting information into the school’s management system. (SIMS/Arbor)
- Assisting with the coordination of school events and activities, such as parent-teacher conferences and school trips.
- Liaising with teachers, parents, and other staff members as required.
- Other administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative role.
- Experience using school management systems such as SIMS or Arbor.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Immediate availability to start.
Advantageous:
- Previous experience within a Primary School.
