Ortus recruitment are looking for a reliable and motivated individual for a Teaching Assistant in Norbury.

The ideal candidate should have previous experience working with children and with SEN. They must also have good knowledge of the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum.

The role consists of working alongside teachers supporting them with planning lessons and helping children with their health and educational needs. The individual will also be expected to work in groups inside and outside the classroom as well as on a 1 to 1 basis with pupils with additional needs.

The mainstream primary school has an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ report, located in Norbury which offers a great atmosphere and many links to public transport for easy commutes to and from the school.

We are looking for an individual who comes across friendly and welcoming as well as being able to communicate effectively with staff and pupils. They must also have a can-do attitude when taking on tasks.

• Have 2 relevant references
• Possess enhanced child DBS on update service
