Role Overview: As a Teaching Assistant, you will be an integral part of the classroom, working closely with teachers to support the academic, emotional, and social development of pupils. You will help create an environment where students can thrive, providing both academic support and pastoral care to ensure each child reaches their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the teaching team in delivering lessons and supporting the learning needs of pupils.
• Provide individualised support to pupils, helping them to achieve their personalised learning outcomes.
• Supervise children during break times to ensure they are safe, happy, and playing well together.
• Help pupils to understand and follow the school’s high behavioural expectations.
• Support children with additional needs, working 1:1 or in small groups, and lead interventions to support their development.
• Understand the importance of safeguarding and report any concerns to the safeguarding lead.
