The Role:

The school is seeking a Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with Autism in a Year 3 class. You will play a key role in supporting the child’s academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and social development, while also assisting the wider classroom when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing dedicated 1:1 support
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery
• Supporting the wider class when needed
• Supervising and caring for pupils during break times
• Managing and supporting challenging behaviour positively
• Building strong relationships with parents and carers

Requirements:

• Experience working with children (school or childcare setting)
• A patient, caring, and proactive attitude
• Confidence supporting SEN pupils
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• £89 – £107 per day (paid weekly, PAYE – no hidden umbrella fees)
