Ortus recruitment are currently looking for an individual to work in one of our partner Primary Schools as a Teaching Assistant in Norbury.

The mainstream Primary School has an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ report, with great facilities and a strong team which provides a high-quality standard of education.

The Primary School is in the vibrant area of Norbury, which offers a great atmosphere with many links to public transport, for easy commutes to and from the school.

An ideal candidate should be familiar with Primary School curriculums, with relevant qualifications and previous experience working in a school setting and with SEN.

The Primary School role consists of helping teachers plan lessons and support pupils with their learning and development in groups inside and outside the classroom and working on a 1:1 basis with children with additional needs.

Essential Requirements

• Able to work Full-time – (Monday to Friday)
• Right to work in UK
• 2 Relevant references
• Enhanced child DBS on update service
