Ortus recruitment are currently looking for an experienced individual to work in our partner Primary School in South Norwood as a Teaching Assistant.

The Primary School has an Ofsted ‘Good’ for their last report and a strong team who provide high quality standards of education.

The ideal candidate should be someone who has some experience working with children, also they must be familiar with Primary School curriculums and be able to communicate clearly and effectively with teachers and pupils.

The role will consist of working alongside a teacher, planning and organising lessons. As well as getting involved in classroom activities you will be supporting children with their learning and development.

You will be working in groups of children and on a 1 to 1 basis with pupils who may need additional help.

Requirements

• Able to work full time
• Right to work in UK
• 2 most recent employment references
• Enhanced child workforce DBS on update service or be willing to process a new one
