Primary Teaching Assistant | Hounslow | KS2

Ortus Recruitment are currently looking for a hardworking individual who is keen on making a difference to work in a local primary school as a General TA.

The school want someone who can have a strong relationship with the other staff and students that they work with as well as have a positive effect on those around them

The role will involve joining one of the KS2 classes in the school for the year, supporting students closely with their learning and development and helping them with any issues they may face whether it is academic or not.

You will have to work alongside the class teacher in order to plan and execute fun, educational lessons for the children. In doing this, you will need to have knowledge of the KS2 curriculum so you can provide classes that tailor to this.

The successful candidate will need:

– to be proactive, flexible and reliable.

– a degree level education. 

– confidence across the primary curriculum. 

Located in Hounslow, the school is easily accessible for all modes of transport. There are local bus routes that go to surrounding areas as well as a couple local stations. There is a lovely local community that the school are heavily involved in and you will have the opportunity to be a part of this.
