Ortus recruitment are currently looking for a highly qualified individual for a Teaching Assistant role. The ideal candidate will should have previous experience working in schools and with SEN.

The role consists of helping teachers plan lessons, aiding pupils with their heath, education, learning and development. Working on a 1-2-1 basis and in groups inside and outside the classroom.

The school is Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ located in Thornton Heath which offers a friendly community and plenty of transport links in the area for easy commutes to and from the area.

We are looking for

• A hardworking individual able to work well under pressure, 1:1 and in groups.
• A reliable, motivated, and confident individual passionate about working with children
• Good knowledge of the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum
• An individual who comes across welcoming, friendly and can also communicate effectively with team and pupils

• 2 relevant references
• Enhanced DBS on updated service
• Able to work full-time (Monday – Friday)
