Ortus recruitment are currently looking for a highly qualified individual with previous experience working in schools for a Teaching Assistant role in Croydon.

The role consists of working 1:1 and in groups, whilst supporting the teacher with the organization and planning of lessons. They will be expected to use their key skills to identify every individual need of the pupils and support them with their learning and development.

The candidate should be familiar with the Primary School EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum and be able to support SEN pupils with their educational and health needs.

A successful candidate should have previous experience working in schools and with SEN. They must also come across friendly and welcoming toward staff and pupils. The individual should have a can-do attitude being able get involved in class activities whilst working in groups and on a 1-2-1 basis.

The school is in the vibrant area of Croydon which offers a great community with many shops, bus, and train links for easy commutes to and from the school.
