We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to join our team as a Primary Teaching Assistant. This role is ideal for those interested in supporting SEN children, mainly those with Autism and Speech and Language needs. The position involves working 1:1 with an Autistic child in a Year 3 class, within a supportive and friendly school environment.
Role Overview: The school is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 Autistic child on a 1:1 basis. The senior leadership team fosters a welcoming atmosphere that enables both learners and staff to grow and develop. This role is perfect for someone eager to achieve their potential and further their career in education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to children with special needs.
- Assist the class teacher with daily activities.
- Support the whole class when required.
- Care for and supervise children during break times.
- Manage challenging behavior effectively.
- Foster positive relationships with parents.
