Psychology Graduate Classroom Assistant | Streatham | Full Time | September Start

Ortus Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Graduate Teaching Assistant to fill a full-time position in a mainstream primary school based in Streatham. Our partnered school is rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted and provides a high standard of education to all pupils, including those with SEN and challenging behaviours. The school has fantastic facilities, supportive staff and if you are looking to a career in education, this is an outstanding opportunity.

Location: Streatham

Hours: 08:30 – 16:00, Monday to Friday (No Weekends)

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize a creative and dynamic approach to teaching and learning
• Work collaboratively as part of a team
• Demonstrate excellent time management and attendance
• Pay close attention to detail

Qualifications and Experience:

• Worked with children in a primary school setting or general experience working with children (i.e. Youth Club, Private Nanny, Sports Coaching, Voluntary, Childminding, Tutoring)
• Relevant degree, such as English, Psychology, Performing Arts, Maths, Science etc.
• Applications from candidates with other degrees and relevant qualifications for working with children will also be considered. (i.e. CACHE Level 1/2/3, Teaching Assistant Level 2/3 etc.)
