Ortus Recruitment is delighted to be working in collaboration with a vibrant and inclusive mainstream primary school in Putney, who are seeking a dedicated Psychology Graduate to join their support staff team. This is a full-time role, ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and looking to gain hands-on experience in a school environment. You will be working one-to-one with a child in Year 2 who has Special Educational Needs, playing a key role in their academic and emotional development.

What’s Involved:

• Supporting a child with SEN on a 1:1 basis throughout the school day
• Assisting with personalised learning activities and routines
• Promoting positive behaviour and helping to build social and emotional skills
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement tailored strategies

What We’re Looking For:

• A Psychology graduate with a strong understanding of child development and SEN
• Previous experience supporting children in any setting (e.g., education, care, youth services)
• A calm, patient, and proactive attitude
• Commitment to supporting inclusion and promoting a positive learning experience
