Ortus recruitment is excited to announce that we are now inviting a pool of qualified teaching assistance to join are out team for a September Start within our partnered mainstream and specialist primary schools across the London Borough of Lambeth. As it is coming to an end the academic year, our client schools are currently inviting candidates for an immediate trial/interview to assess your skills and how you interact with pupils. If you are looking for a new role with a school setting, this is the perfect time to secure a full time and long-term placement for the 2023/24 academic year.

Requirements:

• Recent graduate of core subject
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
• CACHE Level 2 or Level 3
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
• Previous experience as a General Teaching Assistant, 1:1 Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Behaviour Mentor or Nursery Practitioner is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of primary school curriculum and teaching methodologies.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• A genuine passion for education and the desire to make a difference in children’s lives.
