Our partnered primary school based in Tulse Hill are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and confident Classroom Assistant with experience of working with children in Reception and an ability to demonstrate a sound knowledge and understanding of the EYFS.  Suitable candidates will ideally possess a relevant childcare qualification, safeguarding training and a valid Paediatric First Aid qualification (or willingness to undertake this training).

The successful candidate will:

• Be focused, with a clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and professional standards.
• Support the class teacher in the delivery of teaching and learning activities within the classroom including small groups or on an individual basis.
• Be able to communicate effectively with both children and colleagues and work under instruction, as well as independently.

The successful candidate must:

• Be passionate about children’s learning, development and welfare.
• Have knowledge of working with Reception children and experience of working in a primary school.
• Be able to assist in preparing the classroom, supporting the children and teacher.
• Have a good standard of spoken and written English.
• Be committed to ensuring that every child reaches their potential.
