Are you passionate about supporting young children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
A primary school in Heston is seeking a Reception SEN Teaching Assistant to work closely with students in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You will provide essential support to children with additional learning needs, helping them to settle into school and thrive.

The Role:
As a Reception SEN Teaching Assistant, you will offer one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN, assisting with early literacy, numeracy, and social skills development. You will help create a nurturing and inclusive environment, ensuring that every child feels confident and capable in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to Reception students with SEN, including those with autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties.
• Help adapt lesson plans and activities to meet individual needs.
• Assist with behaviour management and encourage positive social interactions.
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to track student progress.
• Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development.

About You:

• Experience working with SEN students, ideally in the EYFS.
• Knowledge of SEN strategies and how to apply them in a classroom setting.
• Strong communication skills and a patient, compassionate approach.
• Passion for working with young children and helping them grow.
