A primary school in Cranford, Hounslow, is looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in their Reception class, supporting children with a range of learning needs.

The Role:
As a Reception SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide targeted support to children with special educational needs, including developmental delays and speech and language difficulties. You will help these children build the foundations they need for future learning success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to Reception students with SEN.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Use a range of strategies to support communication and social skills development.
• Support the emotional and personal development of young learners.
• Collaborate with staff and external professionals to ensure children’s needs are met.

About You:

• Previous experience working with Early Years children, particularly those with SEN.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework and SEN strategies for young children.
• Patience, creativity, and strong communication skills.
• Enthusiastic about supporting children in their early years of learning.
