A primary school in Purley is seeking a Reception SEN Teaching Assistant to work closely with children in their Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You will provide key support to students with SEN, ensuring they can access the curriculum and develop key social, emotional, and academic skills.

The Role:
As a Reception SEN Teaching Assistant, you will assist students with SEN, including those with developmental delays and communication difficulties. You will work closely with the class teacher to adapt lessons and provide targeted interventions, helping each child to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to Reception students with SEN.
• Assist with adapting resources and activities to meet individual learning needs.
• Support the development of early literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Work with the SENCO and class teacher to monitor student progress and adjust support as needed.

About You:

• Experience working with SEN students, particularly in an Early Years setting.
• Strong understanding of SEN strategies and how to implement them effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about helping young children develop and succeed.
