A thriving mainstream primary school in Tooting is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Reception Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team. This supportive two-form entry school, graded “Good” by Ofsted, is known for its nurturing environment, inclusive ethos, and commitment to providing an exceptional start to children’s education.

This full-time role (08:30am – 16:00pm, Monday to Friday) is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate, aspiring teacher, or experienced childcare professional eager to make a real impact within the EYFS setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and a genuine passion for helping young learners thrive.

Requirements:

• Experience supporting children within the EYFS
• Strong academic background
• Proactive, dependable, and committed to professional growth
• A clear dedication to whole-school development
• Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Availability to work Monday–Friday, 08:30–16:00

The Role:

• Work closely under the guidance of the class teacher and EYFS phase leader
• Support pupils to achieve the highest standards of learning and progress
• Deliver high-quality interventions tailored to individual needs
• Carry out observations and write developmental reports
• Contribute to delivering a rich, engaging EYFS curriculum
