SEMH Behaviour Mentor

Our partnered school currently seek a passionate and engaging SEMH teaching assistant, who is looking to provide support to pupil with challenging behaviour. The role will all be class based, ranging from primary all the way up to year 11 are all at risk of not achieving their full potential. The ideal candidate will be focused on providing basic numeracy & literacy skills, to support the transition back into mainstream or further education.

The perfect Behaviour Mentor

  • The preferred person will have an absolute passion for supporting children’s education, & in helping them believe that they can accomplish anything!
  • Any and all experience with children with SEMH needs is preferred, but this experience does not have to be in a classroom. However, any experience teaching Math’s & English will be greatly beneficial.
  • We are looking for someone with the ability to build & maintain meaningful relationships, and most importantly, someone who is not afraid of a challenge!
