Salary: £90 – £105 Daily

Ortus Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join one of our supportive partner schools. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students who require additional support to engage positively in their learning and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs
- Implement strategies to help pupils regulate emotions and develop positive behaviours
- Support the class teacher with planning and delivering tailored learning activities
- Encourage inclusion and engagement across the school day
- Work closely with the SENCO and wider pastoral team to promote student wellbeing
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children with SEMH, behavioural difficulties, or additional needs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A calm, nurturing and resilient approach
- Team player with a proactive attitude
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Team Teach, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential
