We are looking to appoint an experienced SEMH/SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team of dedicated and resourceful staff starting immediately.

The role will be to support our pastoral worker in our Nurture provision. The successful candidate will be working as part of a great team, supporting children with severe and complex needs in Key Stage 2. We need someone with a passion for working with children who have SEND/SEMH needs, and someone with experience.

Working Hours: 08:30am – 13:00pm

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a dedicated, enthusiastic professional
• Has a passion for learning
• Trained or has experience in using the Boxall Nurture method (would be a benefit)
• Has excellent communication skills
• Has experience supporting children with SEMH/ SEND on a 1:1 basis
• Has experience of supporting mild to severe SEND including but not limited to: Autism, ADHD, Challenging Behaviour or Speech and Language difficulties
• Positive Handling training is desirable
• Is passionate about inclusive education
• Is willing to learn and to be trained further in this role
