About the Role:

Ortus Recruitment is working on behalf of a Mainstream Primary School in Kennington, we’re seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work supporting SEMH, across the school and behaviour provision.

The majority of the pupils requiring support have a Statement of Special Educational Need. All students are supported by a vast range of Learning Support Staff and Teaching Assistants.

The successful candidate should:

• Be confident supporting across all primary age groups
• Experience supporting children with social, behavioural and emotional needs
• Experience of working in a primary school
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Additional Information:

• Start date: September 2023
• Monday – Friday 8:30am – 4:00pm
• A long term permanent contract with the possibility to go permanent after 1 term
• £80 – £100 per day (based on experience and qualifications)

You will need to have strong skills in behaviour management, a passion for working with pupils that have special educational needs and feel strongly in providing them the best start in life and education!
