A welcoming and inclusive Primary School in the dynamic London Borough of Camden are looking to recruit a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child with ASC who can start the role ASAP.

The SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant role:

• Be confident and comfortable leading numeracy and literacy interventions in small groups
• Supporting child with ASC and having a positive impact on social, emotional and academic development
• Working alongside class teacher to manage behaviour, keep classroom organised and liaise with parents/carers

Teaching Assistant Expectations:

• 3-6 months experience working with SEN children (desirable)
• Minimum 2:2 grade in education, psychology or other relevant degree (desirable)
• Strong literacy, numeracy and communication skills
• Must be able to provide: an enhanced DBS (or willing to apply for one), proof of Right to Work in the UK and 2 references

Teaching Assistant Job Details:

• Long-term and full-time
• Daily rate of £70 – £85
• Located in London Borough of Camden
