Ortus Recruitment Seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in KS1 in one of our client schools in the diverse area of Haringey, London. The school is welcoming and has a great relationship with its staff members by supporting and giving them training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students with autism
• Implement and adapt teaching strategies to accommodate individual needs
• Collaborate with teachers
• Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages social and emotional development.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the teaching team and parents.

What is required?

• Need to be able to run interventions in Phonics, numeracy, and literacy
• 3-6 months of SEN experience (preferably speech, language, and communication)
• Enhanced DBS
• MUST BE AVAILABLE FULL-TIME
