We are working with a welcoming primary school in Colindale who are seeking a committed SEN Learning Support Assistant to join their team. This role involves providing tailored support to children with Autism (ASC), helping them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Autism.
• Assist with learning activities, communication, and social development.
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver individual learning plans.
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence.
• Support the wider classroom environment where required.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children with SEN, particularly Autism.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting children’s needs.
• A genuine interest in education and supporting pupil progress.
• Right to work in the UK is essential.
