Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant to join the team in an ‘Good’ primary school located in Colindale, supporting children with Special Educational Needs such as Autism and ADHD. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners.

Role Responsibilities:
– Utilise your experience working with children to provide individualised support
– Assist in implementing educational activities tailored to each child’s needs
– Support the class teacher in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
– Communicate effectively with both students and teaching staff

Required Skills:
– Demonstrable experience working with children, particularly those with autism
– Knowledge of SEN interventions and strategies
– Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with children

Nice-to-Have Skills:
– Previous experience in primary classroom setting
– A passion for educating and supporting young learners
