Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30 – 16:30

We have a very exciting SEN Primary Teaching Assistant role opportunity that would suit anyone that is passionate about working in education. If you are also interested in supporting SEN children, mainly those with Autism, Speech and Language needs then this role will be well suited to you. The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support 1:1 with an Autistic child in a Year 3 class. The senior leadership at the school are supporting and friendly, and have worked to build a welcoming atmosphere where learner and staff feel enabled to grow and develop.
Duties:
- Maintain the classroom and equipment in a safe and tidy condition.
- Contribute to record-keeping by recording observations of pupils during the school day.
- Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant
- Communicate their knowledge and understanding of students to other school staff
- Demonstrate positive attitudes, values and behaviours consistent with the role and in line with the expectations
- Promote, support and facilitate inclusion by encouraging participation of all pupils in learning and extracurricular activities.
- Provide teaching and learning support including the use of appropriate technical resources
- Support students with SEN and additional needs
