This self-fulfilling SEN Primary Teaching Assistant role, you’ll have the opportunity to work across different classes based on the school’s needs, spanning various key stages. You’ll be surrounded by wonderful teaching resources as you work closely with students, gently monitoring their progress and providing support along their educational journey.

If you are also interested in supporting SEN children, mainly those with Autism, Speech and Language needs then this role will be well suited to you. The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support 1:1 with an Autistic child in a Year 5 class. The senior leadership at the school are supporting and friendly, and have worked to build a welcoming atmosphere where learner and staff feel enabled to grow and develop.

Duties included:

• 1:1 support with children
• Assisting the class teacher
• Supporting the whole class when needed
• Caring and looking after children during break time
• Managing challenging behaviour
• Fostering relationships with the parents

Pay: £85.00 – £100.00

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30 – 16:30
