SEN Teaching Assistant – ADHD & Behaviour Support (Year 4)
Location: Croydon, Greater London
Salary: £90 – £100 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only

Do you have experience supporting children with ADHD and behavioural needs?
A primary school in Croydon is looking for a patient and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 pupil with ADHD. This role involves helping the student stay engaged, manage emotions, and develop positive learning behaviours.
The Role:
- Provide one-to-one support for a Year 4 student with ADHD.
- Implement behaviour strategies to support focus and emotional regulation.
- Use movement breaks, sensory tools, and structured routines to aid learning.
- Work closely with the SENCO and class teacher to follow support plans.
- Encourage positive social interactions and self-confidence.
About You:
- Experience working with children with ADHD or behavioural needs is desirable.
- A calm, consistent, and encouraging approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt and implement individualised support strategies.
