A welcoming primary school in Croydon is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 student with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful difference by providing tailored learning support.
The Role:
- Work one-to-one with a Year 3 student with ADHD, helping them stay focused and engaged in lessons.
- Implement structured routines and strategies to support concentration and self-regulation.
- Assist with differentiated learning activities, ensuring the child can access the curriculum.
- Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage positive behaviours.
- Collaborate with the SENCO, teacher, and parents to provide consistent support.
About You:
- Experience working with children with ADHD or similar needs is desirable.
- A patient, proactive, and adaptable approach to behaviour support.
- Ability to build strong relationships and provide encouragement.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
