Location: Croydon, Greater London
Salary: £90 – £100 per day (depending on experience)

Do you have experience supporting children with autism and sensory needs?
A vibrant primary school in Croydon is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 student with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). This role focuses on providing a structured, engaging learning environment tailored to the child’s needs.
The Role:
- Work one-to-one with a Year 3 pupil with autism and sensory processing difficulties.
- Use visual schedules, now-and-next boards, and structured routines.
- Support sensory regulation through activities such as movement breaks and fidget tools.
- Collaborate with the SENCO and class teacher to adapt learning materials.
- Encourage communication using PECS or Makaton (if applicable).
About You:
- Experience working with children with autism in a school setting is desirable.
- Knowledge of sensory processing strategies and communication tools is an advantage.
- A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow SEN support plans.
