Do you have experience supporting children with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD)?
A specialist primary school in Croydon is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support Key Stage 2 (KS2) students with PMLD, helping them access learning and develop essential life skills.

The Role:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for KS2 children with PMLD.
• Assist with personal care, mobility, and daily routines.
• Implement sensory-based learning activities tailored to individual needs.
• Use communication aids such as PECS and Makaton.
• Work alongside therapists and SEN specialists to provide holistic support.

About You:

• Experience working with children with PMLD is desirable.
• Training in manual handling, PECS, or Makaton is beneficial.
• A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to SEN support.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
