Salary: £90 – £100 per day (depending on experience)

Are you passionate about supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?
A primary school in Thornton Heath is looking for a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 6 pupil with SEMH needs, helping them manage emotions and develop positive learning behaviours.
The Role:
- Provide one-to-one support for a Year 6 child with SEMH needs.
- Implement strategies to manage emotional regulation and classroom behaviour.
- Support learning through positive reinforcement and structured routines.
- Work closely with the SENCO, pastoral team, and external professionals.
- Encourage confidence and engagement in both academic and social settings.
About You:
- Experience working with children with SEMH needs is highly desirable.
- Strong behaviour management and emotional regulation techniques.
- A patient, understanding, and empathetic approach to SEN support.
- Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
