Ortus Recruitment has an opening for a dynamic and experienced Teaching Assistant in Wandsworth. Our partner school is a mainstream primary school with a strong leadership team and a reputation for excellence.

As the ideal candidate, you will possess:

• A degree or CACHE level 2 or 3 in teaching assistance
• Proven experience working with children in a primary school setting
• Strong interpersonal skills, including being friendly, confident, outgoing, reliable and being a positive role model
• A genuine interest and passion for supporting young, vulnerable pupils
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work well in a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Availability for full-time work Monday through Friday

You will be responsible for working in small groups and one-on-one with pupils who may need additional support, as well as assisting the teacher with lesson planning. This is a full-time, long-term position and the school is looking for someone who can start immediately after the half-term for the right candidate.

This opportunity £75 – £90 per day (PAYE) pay rate and opportunities for career progression.
