SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support) – Primary School
Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school for a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support across two key stages.
The Role:
- Morning: Provide tailored 1:1 support for a child in Year 3 with SEND, helping to facilitate learning, engagement, and emotional well-being.
- Afternoon: Support a child in Reception with SEND, focusing on early development, communication, and social interaction.
- Work closely with the class teachers, SENCO, and wider support team to deliver personalised strategies and interventions.
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children with SEND (in a school or similar setting) is highly desirable.
- Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children to reach their full potential.
