We are currently looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to provide support on a 1:1 basis with children with Special Educational Needs.

Responsibilities:
– Work with children with varying special educational needs to provide individualised support and assistance
– Assist the teacher in implementing educational plans and activities
– Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
– Support students in their social and emotional development
– Provide one-on-one or small group interventions
– Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies
– Assist with daily tasks such as preparing materials, organizing the classroom, and maintaining a clean and safe environment

Requirements:
– Experience working with children in a classroom setting
– Knowledge of working with children with SEN
– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
– Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with children
– Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively as part of a team
– Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of students
– A genuine passion for education and helping children succeed
