SEN Teaching Assistant

Our partnered mainstream primary school based in Kennington are looking for an enthusiastic, resilient, and committed Teaching Assistant to join their Learning Support & Enrichment team. You will be supporting pupils within their classroom environments, enabling them to access the curriculum and help develop their social and communication skills. You will have a good knowledge and experience of working with pupils with SEND, particularly autism spectrum disorder and ADHD, and understand how to implement effective behavioural, emotional, social and communication interventions.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Creative and dynamic approach to teaching and learning
  • The ability to work in a team
  • Excellent time management and attendance
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience working with children in a primary school setting or general experience working with children

(i.e., Youth Club, Private Nanny, Sports Coaching, Voluntary, Childminding, Tutoring)

  • Relevant Degree

(i.e., English, Psychology, Performing Arts, Maths, Science etc.)
