SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Wembley, NW London
Hours: Full-time / Term-time
Salary: £85 – £100 Daily (PAYE)
Start Date: Immediate

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work one-to-one with a child with autism, helping them thrive in a nurturing and supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualised support to a child with autism, tailoring learning methods to their unique needs.
  • Assist with academic, social, and emotional development, fostering independence and confidence.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement and monitor the child’s learning plan.
  • Create a safe and engaging space for the child to learn and interact with peers.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with children with autism or special educational needs.
  • A calm, understanding, and patient approach, with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt and respond to the child’s evolving needs.
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
