Are you passionate about making a real difference in a child’s life? We’re looking for a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a wonderful child in the Early Years with autism.

Location: Primary School in Ealing Broadway
Hours: 8:00am – 3:30pm or 8:30am – 4:00pm
Role Type: EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant

About the Role:

You’ll play a vital role in providing tailored support, helping this young learner thrive both academically and emotionally. The child is:

• Toilet trained, though he may hesitate and need gentle encouragement.
• Able to speak basic words, benefiting greatly from visual aids to support communication.
• Prone to moments of distress, which may involve dropping to the floor or head-banging. Your calm, patient approach will be key in helping him self-regulate.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with children with autism or SEN is highly desirable.
• A nurturing, patient, and resilient personality.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to use or adapt visual support strategies.
• Confidence in managing challenging behaviours with empathy and understanding.
