Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant with a CACHE Level 3 qualification? Do you have the skills and experience to support children with special educational needs (SEN) in a nurturing and inclusive learning environment?
The Role
We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Ealing. The ideal candidate will provide one-to-one and group support to students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and other learning difficulties, helping them access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to students with SEN, both in the classroom and on a one-to-one basis
- Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and adapting resources to meet individual needs
- Implement behaviour management strategies and support students’ social and emotional development
- Work closely with SENCOs, teachers, and parents to monitor progress and provide feedback
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
Requirements
- CACHE Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent
- Previous experience working with children with SEN, preferably in a school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs
- A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to supporting students
