Ortus recruitment are excited to present a new opportunity with our partner Primary School in Crystal Palace as a SEN Teaching Assistant.

The school has an Ofsted ‘Good’ For their last report, great facilities and a strong leadership team who help to provide high quality standards of education.

The ideal candidate should be someone who has an academically strong background and some previous experience working with children.

The individual must be warm, welcoming and be able to communicate with teachers and children clearly and effectively.

The role will consist of working alongside a teacher, helping plan and organise lessons as well as getting involved in class activities supporting children’s learning and development.

You will be working in groups of children and on a 1 to 1 basis with pupils who may need additional help with their work.
