Ortus recruitment are currently looking for an individual to work in our partner primary school in Thornton Heath as an SEN Teaching Assistant.

The primary school has an Ofsted ‘Good’ for their last report and a strong leadership team who aim to provide high quality standards of education.

The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background and have some experience working with children and SEN pupils.

The role will be working with a teacher, planning lessons, helping to manage classroom behavior and supporting children with their learning and development.

You will be working in groups of children and 1 to 1 with SEN pupils who may need additional help with their work.

Requirements

• 2 most recent references
• Enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service or be willing to process a new one.
